The test method we follow
PCR (polymerase chain reaction) is a technique that can be used to detect the presence of animal DNA in food products. This is done by amplifying a specific region of DNA that is common to all animal species. If animal DNA is present in the food sample, it will be amplified and detected by the PCR machine.
